RNID - Case Study
The Royal National Institute for the Deaf (RNID) contracted us to develop a system to allow the various members of a project called FirstWave to keep in touch and discuss the project despite being spread over the whole of the UK. They also needed to share and collaborate on documents relating to the project.

The System
The FirstWave web site is a forum system with a file upload and download capability. It allows the various participants of the FirstWave project to communicate with one another and share documents. Each registered user had a username and password to login and various levels of user had different access rights. An admin group of users even had rights to add or remove other users allowing RNID to maintain their userlist without our assistance.


Technology
This is an ASP based site with a SQL server 2000 database behind it hosted here at our offices in Claydon.
